A new car handover is going to be quite different for the foreseeable future at Barnetts Volkswagen. In order to allow our staff to adhere to social distancing regulations we have introduced a contactless handover. Your safety is our main priority, and we have taken steps to provide the highest levels of customer care throughout the handover process.
In advance of the handover your sales executive will prepare all your paperwork digitally to ensure that the only requirement on the day is to collect your new car.
They will ensure everything is completed in time for your agreed handover appointment. This includes finance, free 5 day Volkswagen insurance and product activation if required.
The physical handover will take place at our external handover point. Your sales executive will be in attendance whilst adhering to all social distancing and protective equipment protocols.

If you or a member of your household develops symptoms of Covid 19, you must contact us to rearrange your handover to a date reflecting Government guidelines.
After your handover is complete your sales executive will be available should you have any questions about your new or used car via email, phone or a live video call.
Our recommendation is to use a live Volkswagen video call. A secure link is sent to your email to connect with your sales executive at a pre-arranged time. They can also connect to you live via WhatApp, Facetime or Zoom if any of these are your preferred video call option.
